Each month (if I’m bothered and not busy), I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the month that’s passed as well as how the blog is doing on that month.
So without further or do, let’s get started!
Arguably one of my most viewed posts on the blog in January, many of you guys and gals have enjoyed my short visual posts on my clay sculpting.
My current art project is based on Pyroclastic, as well as the eruption that caused both Pompeii and Herculaneum. The mask represent two different outcomes in their own respective pieces, as well as a mixed pieces of samples.
Going forward, I have a few more clay sculpting posts to do, my final solutions posts will cover my final part in the project. I’m hoping to get everything done by next Friday.
As for my next and final project for my course work? Well, it’s in early planning stages, but I have a few options for my FMP theme including: The political spectrum, Fossil fuel wars, Dystopian authoritarian (inspired by Fallout New Vegas character, Mr House) and Synthwave. As of today, I’m still keeping these ideas as a starting point, but gradually once I’ve completed my current project, I’ll be making a decision.
The Leech Kings Crown campaign
This month was a start to constructing my plans for a campaign for my Stormcast Eternals and my friends Tomb Kings. After two drafts and one big post on the narrative side, I’m just about nearly done with the campaign planning. There’s only just the task of writing the gaming structure planning before it’s completed.
Due to uncertainty on when the campaign will be started, it’ll be a while yet until I can post anything on the campaign. Hopefully, if things go well, I might be able to start posting battle reports.
Table top hobby
It’s been a very quiet month on the hobby side at the start of the year, due to a lack of motivation, time and space. I’ve been able to create more storage space, thanks to the wisdom of Azzrel and Ann’s advice. I’ve got half the shelving space left for displaying my Order alliance, so I’ll be keeping my eye out for some Duardin from the Fyreslayers and Kharadron Overlords for my ally slot.
Also this month, I was able to produce a painted scenery, some Deathguard, some Stormcast Eternals (Collection all up to date with painted models) and some outside model products of cannons and crew. These should be up on the blog pretty soon.
My tribute piece
For those of you who have seen the blogsite ‘Tales of the Aaronorium’, you’ll be surprised to know that I’ve made tribute digital art paintings. Each picture represents each Aaronoughts with their respective faction as their own character.
This post has had an okay-ish response, digital art is something I’m still improving on. I know that so far only one Aaronoughts has seen the post, the other three I’m not sure have seen the post yet (or planning to take me down by a hired Clan Eshin asssassin!).
I’m tempted to do more digital art based on a few of my followers (AoS and 40k ones), it’ll be fun to test my art skills to draw more Orcs and Alves.
That’s all for this month. I hope you have enjoyed this post! If you’ve enjoyed this post and you want me to do more monthly look back posts, post a comment below and I’ll reply back as soon as I can. Thanks!
